Tuesday
it was here. the 'portal' was going to be in my backyard, right next to the bog old oak tree, just as i had seen on Sunday. i woke up extra-extra early, but didn't get that weird feeling that i was expecting. i hoped, i hoped and prayed, i pleaded, i had to have it be there. i slowly, very slowly, walked up to my window. i peered through my window, just to see exactly what i was looking for. well, not exactly, yes the hole was there, right where i had imagined it would be, but something was different. the hole was smaller. since i was up just before the sun rised, i had some time to research the shrinking of the hole. i sat in the corner of my room, with my bright screen in the dark morning. i couldn't find much information, except i did find out the title of a book at the public library. i copied down the dewie decimal number, and went back to sleep for the little time i could. i made a plan to get that book, and figure out more secrets of wonderland.
