Dad's Shirt

Well, this is an inside joke between me and my dad. It came up at dinner.

My dad is wearing a very ugly shirt. It is hidio us. It clashes with his pants. Plaid is OUT.  All of his shirts are plaid. He told me my shirts are ugly,but seriously, plaid is out!! I love my dad,but I don't like his shirts,or his style. Sorry,dad, it's true.

What happened

Ha-haha-ha-haha. The breathing of some creature breathed on the back of my neck. I was confused. The last thing I remembered, I slid down the slide on Annalise's playlet. Next thing I knew I was sitting on a white bed with people staring at me. I looked down at my wrist. Hospital patient:Ariella Barisque. What happened? Where was I? Why am I here?
"she's awake!" people whispered.
"but how?" others said.
"uh, what happened, why am I here, how long have i been here,and where exactly is here?" I asked.
"she can talk?" a tall man in a white lab coat asked.
"um, yeah, and can you answer my question?" i replied.
"oh sure! We don't know what happened, you have seemed to have fallen into a coma, you have been here for a little over three years, and the national hospital." the supposedly doctor said.
"THREE YEARS?!!" I screamed. People looked at me strangly.
"yes, sadly. " a young man said.
That young man looked like older brother. Wait, was he?

Costumes!!

today, I some more dance costumes. I got my tap costume, which is blue, black and very very sparkly. I also got my jazz costume, which is cheetah print, turquoise, black, sparkly, and has lots of sequins, and even a big sparkly bow!! I love getting dance costumes. I get to try on new costumes, and learn how to be a srtage performer. Also, it' really  fun!!

NO MORE

Yay!! finally, M-Step is over! sorry 6th graders, you are going to hate it. it's really boring. i can't talk about details, but it was terrible. we had to sit still for ever. it was horrible. sometimes it was kind of fun-ish, like the lesson part. but otherwise that, it was absolutely horrible. i actually like tests, but not this test. i and so happy it's over!

Weekend! Come!

Today, I really want the weekend to come. A lot. I don't think I'm doing anything this weekend,so I really want the weekend to come. Since today is Wednesday,  I have 2 and a 1/2 more days. Ugh. I just want a nice, two day long break. That would be amazing. But sadly I have to wait 2 and a half more days. I just want the weekend to come!!

school

i don't want to go to school. i have had such a fun weekend i do not want it to end! i got to dance in a charity show, compete in a forensics competition, and do many more super awesome and fun things. i want to have just one more day! or two, or three, or  four! i can't wait for next weekend, even though i don't know what i am doing. i really hope it's something fun! i just wish it was saturday, because then i could have just one more day!

forensics comp!

i had a forensics competition! it was so fun! i competed against 48 people, and i got either 7-12! i got to see some really cool pieces! and some i had seen before, at the last competition. it was cool to see other people, because i can learn from what they do, and make myself better. i competed in storytelling 5/6, which is a big category. i wish i got to see other categories.

Gala

today i had a dance show! it was so fun. we raised over 18,000 dollars for a charity called ask or acts of simple kindness. the website is actsofsimplekindness.org. the charity gives money to children who lost a parent, so they can do extracurricular activities and have a little bit of normalcy in their lives. we held the event at andiamo's in warren, at a big baquet hall. we had dinner, dessert, and a DJ. we had so much fun! at the end of the show, all of the competition teams performed a dance. i had npot even seen some of the dances before! it was so fun!

photo editing

i like our engage/science project a lot. just before we started the unit, my sister had gotten in to photo editng, and got me into it. i think it is realy fun making regular, ordinary things into things beyond belief. it is fun, because i can explore new technology and learn. isn't that what school's all about? and most of all, i get to climb my own everest. maybe, i'll get stuck on masking. but i'll find my way out of the situation. and, i have a partner who i wouldn't usually choose. but i found out how we can work together.

Ashes cont

My life has always been weird. I don't know my mom, by dad left me, and now I am stuck with my stepmom and stepsisters. so basically, my life is a fairytale.  besides the fact that my stepmom and stepsisters are quite nice. and, there is no prince charming, and there will never be. i am about as unpopular as it gets. yeah, it is not gonna happen anytime soon.

My life is not just wierd because its the unhappy version of a fairytale, its weird because of a lot of things. my best friend thinks my life is an amazing mystery to investigate, but shes just a wannabe Sherlock Holmes.

Ashes

Bum-bum-bum! The sounds of hundreds of footsteps slammed the ground. Trina ran with the young baby in her arms, as the smoke smell came into her nose. The fence was approaching, and Trina had to jump. She reached out for the fence, but the child slipped out of her arms. She couldn't go back. She didn't have time. The fire erupted the city. She had to flee. She could only hope for the best for her little baby, Anna.

Cheese

I opened the refrigerator, looking for dinner. A fruit, a sandwich, maybe even some left overs? But no. I did not see anything I wanted, so I opened a few drawers. Then I saw something. Cheese. I took out the big roll of smoked Gouda cheese, unwrapped the plastic, grabbed a knife, and I cut it into small pieces. It wasn't what I was expecting to have for dinner, but it was something.

Gala

This weekend I have a 2 hour dance rehearsal. Why, because, in one week, my dance team has atype of show called the gala. My dance studio has been around for 35 years, and every five years, we do a charity fundraiser for a children's charity at andimamos in warren, mi. All the money we earn goes to a different charity each gala. This years charity is ASK , or acts of simple kindness. http://actsofsimplekindness.org we are doing this charity because we are kids, and we want to help other kids.

Pool

I love being at a pool. I get to swim, realax, and have fun. At the pool at the condo where I was staying, it was especially fun. I got to play with my 7 year old cousin Gary, sit it the sun. And play with the other kids at our condominium. We played this game called silence a lot. In this game, you have one person standing, facing the opposite direction, so not facing the pool. The person has to listen, and if they think someone playing is swimming accross the pool, then they can turn around. If no one was swimming, they have to move up a step. But if someone, or multiple people are swimming, then the person standing can jump in and try to tag the person swimming. But as soon as the swimmer makes it to the wall, they can't be tagged.if someone is tagged, then they are it.

Zoo

We went to the zoo on our vacation. We saw some animals that you would not find at the Detroit zoo, or the bell isle nature zoo. They had crocodiles, ostriches, cockatoos, and even free roaming birds. You could even buy bird food, and the birds, which where tropical birds, would fly on your arm!  We saw lots of birds, monkeys, crocodiles, and other animals! There was even a special fish tank where you could touch sea urchins, starfish, crabs, and other sea creatures.

Beach

We have been going to the beach a lot. And when we are there, we get to do some really cool stuff and see some really cool stuff. We get to go crab-hunting, wake boarding, skinboarding, and many other things. I personally really like wakeboarding. I do it a lot, when I have the opportunity. One time when I went wakeboarding, I found a sand dollar. Not just the smooth, white sand dollar you find on the shore, a living, breathing sand dollar. I accidentally stepped on it, picked it up, and brought it back to our spot. When we went to the zoo, i asked the zookeeper about it and she said it was not endangered, but a rare find.

Manatees!!

Well, in Florida, there is a lot of sealife and wildlife. We went on a boat ride, and we got to experience just a portion of the wildlife and sealife. We saw mannatees, dolphins, fish, and many more animals. We got really close to the mannates and even got a few pictures! They swam and played right by our boat! Since mannatees are really big, we had to be careful when and where we went. But it was really cool to see.

Florida Fun

For spring break, my family went to Florida. It has been so much fun! We are here with my grandparents and my aunt and uncle, and my 8 year old cousin. Our condo has an amazing pool, and it's on a private beach!! Our condo is located in Cocoa Beach, which is great because there is a lot to do here. We have had a lot of fun so far, and I'm really enjoying the fun of being with my grandma, grandpa, aunt, uncle, and cousin.

florida

yay! i'm getting ready to head to Florida. Florida is warm, and i really want some warm weather. also, i get to see my grandma and grandpa! my grandma just had a big birthday recently, and i can't wait to see her! also, the condo i am staying at has a really big pool, and a beach on the ocean! it's really fun. also, on our drive up there,we are stopping at an amusement park called Carowinds. it's supposed to be great!!

AHW: lily and the bad cheese

today, I was texting my friend lily. we were having a sort of normal conversation, the most normal we could get, then randomly, she just texted "I ate expired cheese!" well, this wasn't that weird, considering how weird my friend is, but then a few minutes later, two minutes to be exact, she replied to me saying "I puked". oh no I thought, oh no. I knew this would end bad.
