yesterday in science, we started a new engage unit about coding. When I first heard this, I immediately thought this was going to be one of the most boring units ever. If you didn't know, I don't like most things digital. When we started it, it was boring. But as we started getting farther into it, I actually really enjoyed it, which was quite surprising. I actually enjoyed it so much I went home and did it again. Today in class we had to study for our upcoming test, and then we could code. I always study by doing the review, so that's how I studied. I finished it very quickly so I could get to coding. I did the min craft code, which happened to be very, very hard. But altogether, I found out something new about myself, which is always a great thing.

spelling bee finale

since the beginning of the school year, i have been in a forensics multiple called spelling bee, and on friday we officially had our last performance. i was happy because we had a successful and fun time with a TON of inside jokes (chop the squid, gsa, flying on cubes, does this dictionary make my butt look big, minty and fresh,FOOOOOOD,i is god,etc.) but i was really, really sad because all of that is over. when i was first chosen for the multiple, i was upset because i had some bad experience with multiple. but in the end, i would trade the experience for anything. i made friends with people i never thought i would become friends with, did some really weird things, but most of all, enjoyed myself. it was something i could never regret doing and would change it for the world. thank you to mrs.bassett for making me do it, the multiple for being there for me, and a lot of other people.

I am thankful for water, it let's me live

I am thankful for technology, it helps me learn and have fun

I am thankful for trees, the let me breathe

I am thankful for Saint Lucia, it's very beautiful 

I am thankful for Florida, I get to see my grandparents there

I am thankful for my house, it is the safest place I know of

I am thankful for my mom, she cares for me in every way 

I am thankful for my dad, he cheers me up when I'm upset

I am thankful for my brother and sister, they are the best siblings ever

I am most thankful for life, I am so greatful for the things I have, the places I've been, and the people I know and love.

Today I had my first ever bcs girls swim meet. I'm wasn't sure what the sore officially was, but I know Covington won.  Our meet was against Bloomfield hills middle school, or bums for short. I was in 4 events, the 200 free relay, the 400 free relay, the 200 medley relay (I was back) and the 200 free. I won first in everything!! It was a really cool thing because I swam for points in everything, and I got to swim against some of my friends. I was so happy we won, especially because this was my first meet. Last year bcs was the league champions, and I am so happy to join the team. Congrats bcs and go Cobras!

hello, i am sylveste4r mcauley. herd that name before, probably not. but does the name rosa parks bring anything to mind? hopefully it does. that, my friends, is my sister. born in 1913 died in 2005. i died many yars before that, but at least i got to see my sister change the world.

Kalahari!

i checked the time. 7:45.
"are we close?" i asked my dad.
"very." he replied.
i looked out my window to see a big sign that read Kalahari Indoor Waterpark and Resort.we pulled up to the illuminated parking lot.
"are you guys excited?" asked my mom.
"yeah!" we all answered.
we unloaded our stuff and walked down the loooooong hallway to our room.
"here it is, 2609." we inserted our card and walked into the room. we pulled out the suitcase and set it on the table.
"go say hi to your grandma and grandpa, the're waiting!"
we walked intyo the conjoined room.
"hi!" i said
"hi ainsley! how are you?" my grandparents asked.
"great!" i exlaimed.
"you should get your swimsuit on before you waste the evening!" my grandpa teased
"ok, i'll be down at the waterpark soon." i said as i walked back into my room. i pulled on my swimsuit and walked out the door. this was going to be great.

Yes I'm so happy!! ,my iPad finally came in! I have been waiting all summer for my iPad to be fixed and now it's fixed! I just updated it to iOS 9.1 and I now have the new emojis, which is sooooooo cool! i am so obbsessed with the unicorn emoji because well, who doesn't like unicorns! i was so happy when it came in, i felt like my face was going to explode! i came in and i saw it charging, so i immediatley ran to my dad and gave him the biggest hug ever! i was overly joyed!
